All online events will be presented on Aluna’s vimeo channel. You will need to register for each night of programming to receive a unique nightly link and password direct to your inbox.
Several installations and public space performances will also be presented around town between October 12 – 24:
Native Earth’s Aki Studio is located on the main floor of the Daniels Spectrum building, at 585 Dundas Street East on the south side of Dundas, just east of Parliament Street. Kevin Smith’s Where I Matter Most (Oct 14 & 16) and Lorena Torres Loaiza’s Pandora in the Box (Oct 21 & 23) will be presented at this location. There is no advance registration required for either of these events. Simply arrive at the location and our festival staff will register you on-site and usher you into the installation. Please note that current Covid health & safety protocols, and limited capacities will be observed at all times. Contact tracing information will be collected from all attendees.
Factory Theatre is located at 125 Bathurst St, Toronto, two blocks south of Queen St. West. Activations and installations in the lobby space will be presented throughout the festival: Renato Baldin’s Rocking Futures (Oct 21 & 23) will invite audiences indoors (max. 3 audience members at a time), while the other installations at this site will be viewable from the street (Richmond St. West): Nickeshia Garrick’s To My Past, Present and Future… (Oct 14), Mala Collective’s Quiero-Estar-Contigo (Oct 16), and Ximena Huizi’s The Mermaid Project (Oct 21 & 23).
There is no advance registration required for any of these events. Simply arrive at the location. Paola Gomez / MUSE Arts’ Dove-Sewing Circle takes place at Earlscourt Park, at the St. Clair West / Caledonia Rd. entrance.
