Ep. 22: MERENDIANDO with Crip the Script
February 26, 2020
This week Monica and Camila sat down with multi award-winning Disabled writer, performer, and producer Ophira Calof. We talked about Crip The Script, “an initiative that is working to create a new framework that is built to support Disabled People, and anyone that the ‘norm’ doesn’t work for”. From the content of the script, to the way production and rehearsals are structured, to the audience experience, Crip The Script is weaving access throughout every part of the show — cripping the literal script, along with the traditional structures of theatre.
Thanks to Zteca for the tasty burritos ! Yum yum.
