Ep. 23: MERENDIANDO with Andres Sierra
March 11, 2020
This week Monica and Camila chatted with Andrés Sierra, a Colombian-Canadian dance-pop recording artist and activist from Toronto. Their accomplishments include reaching #10 on the iTunes Dance Charts in Canada and becoming the number one trending video on YouTube in Brazil, Sweden and Australia. Their latest videos for Hearts on Fire and Resilience mark a reclamation of Andrés Sierra as a queer person, unafraid to live their authentic truth and be a voice for the voiceless.
Listen to their new single Resilience! Follow them on Instagram at @esandres.
Thanks to Tacos Al Asador for the tasty tacos and pupusas!
